# How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account at any time.  For security reasons, we require you to delete your own account.

1. [Log in](https://app.optery.com/login) to your Optery account

2. Click on [Account](https://app.optery.com/account) in the left navigation

3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and then click the red button that says "Permanently Delete My Optery Account"

4. After you confirm, your account and associated information will be deleted.  This is permanent, and cannot be undone.
