Can I invite someone to my Optery for Family account that already has a pre-existing Optery personal account?
Yes. You can invite someone to your Optery for Family account if they already have an account. Make sure you use the same email address associated with their existing Optery account.
What happens after they join the family plan
After accepting the invitation:
- Their existing Optery account remains active
- Their reports and history remain intact
- The Family Administrator manages their subscription and billing under the family plan
This ensures a smooth transition without affecting their existing account or protection.
If the invited member previously had a paid subscription
If the invited member previously had a paid Optery subscription, contact support after they accept the invitation and provide their account email address. Support will review the account and apply any eligible refund for remaining subscription value.
