What is a Delegated Member, and How Does It Work?

Optery's Delegated Member feature provides organization Admins the ability to manage account information on an employee's behalf. The most common use case for this feature is when an Executive Assistant or Cybersecurity Administrator needs to manage an Optery account for a company Executive.

Organization Admins will find the option to add a Delegated Member from the Manage Members table, as shown in the image below:
Add Delegated Member

After clicking the Add Delegated Member button, organization Admins can provide the Member for the Delegated Member.

Note: The Allow Notifications checkbox should be selected if you want the Delegated Member to receive email updates and invitations to additional account features (e.g. Limited Power of Attorney, Government ID Upload, Expanded Reach, etc).

Once a Delegated Member account is created, it can be identified by the icon next to their name, as shown in the image below.

Organization Admins can update the profiles of Delegated Members by selecting the Manage Profile option when managing the account.
Manage Profile

Organization Admins can access all Manage Profile fields for updating profile information for Delegated Members, similar to updating an Optery for Personal account.
