How Do I Change My Subscription Plan or Term From Monthly to Yearly Billing?

You can change your plan tier (Core, Extended, or Ultimate) or your billing term (Monthly or Yearly) at any time. Switching to Yearly billing saves about 17% per year compared to Monthly billing.


Changing Your Plan Tier (Upgrade or Downgrade)

You can change your plan tier directly from your dashboard at any time.


  1. Go to https://app.optery.com/plans and log into your account.
  2. Click Plans in the left-hand menu.
  3. At the top of the page, select your preferred billing term — Yearly (saves 17%) or Monthly.
  4. Find the plan you want and click the button under it. The button will say Upgrade if the plan is higher than your current plan, or Downgrade if it is lower.
  5. Follow the prompts to confirm the change. Your card on file will be charged automatically.



Please note that when upgrading, you are only charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period. And if you decide to downgrade, the unused portion of your current plan is converted into a credit on your account. This credit is automatically applied to your next invoice.





Switching from Monthly to Yearly Billing


  1. Go to https://app.optery.com/plans and log into your account.
  2. Click Plans in the left-hand menu.
  3. Find your current plan and click Change to Yearly.
  4. Follow the prompts to confirm. Your new annual rate takes effect immediately.




Switching from Yearly to Monthly Billing

This change cannot be made from your dashboard. Please contact Optery Support via the in-app chat or at support@optery.com and our billing team will process the change and any applicable refund to your original payment method.


Troubleshooting

If you are having trouble finding the Plans page or completing a change, try the following:


  • Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try again.
  • Try a different browser or device.
  • Log out and log back in, then try again.


If the issue persists, contact our support team via the in-app chat or at support@optery.com with a screenshot of what you are seeing and we will look into it.
