LPOA for Delegated Members

1. Overview of Limited Power of Attorney (LPOA) for Delegated Members

This feature allows Delegated Members within an Optery for Business organization to sign the Limited Power of Attorney (LPOA) and enable opt-out services for data brokers. By facilitating this process, Optery for Business Administrators can manage the delegation process more efficiently and ensure Optery’s data removal requests are processed more effectively.

  • Delegated Members will receive an email with a unique, secure link to sign their LPOA. The link will expire after 5 days, so make sure the LPOA is signed before the link expires.

  • After clicking the link in the email, the Delegated Member will be taken to a secure page to review and sign the LPOA. Members are required to provide a digital signature by typing their name into the signature field.

  • Once completed, the Delegated Member will see a message confirming the LPOA has been successfully signed. The Administrator Dashboard will update the Delegated Members LPOA status to “Signed.”
