What is a Delegated Member? How Does It Work?
Optery's Delegated Member feature provides organization Admins the ability to manage account information on an employee's behalf. The most common use case for this feature is when an Executive Assistant or Cybersecurity Administrator needs to manage an Optery account for a company Executive.
To add a Delegated Member please follow the below steps.
- Log in to your Optery for Business organization here.
- Select the Manage Members page.
- Select the Invite Member dropdown, select Add Delegated Member.

- After selecting Add Delegated Member, you will be required to enter information about the Delegated Member to activate the Optery license. Once you've entered the Delegated Members details, select Add Member.

- After a Delegated Member has been created, additional information such as Emails, Phone Numbers, Addresses, and more can be added and/or updated by selecting Manage Profile as seen below. Features such as Blur Your Home, Sending the Limited Power of Attorney and Expanded Reach activation can also be completed.


- Delegated Members can easily be identified by the blue icon on the Manage Members page of the Administrator Dashboard.
