Does Optery Support Removals from Unlimited Past Cities, States and Addresses?

What each plan supports

Free Basic: Unlimited past cities and states for self-service removal tools.
Core: Removals for one name and one city and state combination. Core is our low-cost, fully automated plan, built to cover the essentials.
Extended and Ultimate: Unlimited past cities, states, and addresses for removals, along with unlimited name variations for the same person.
If you're on Core and want removals for past locations, you can upgrade to Extended or Ultimate at any time.

Why past locations matter

Data brokers often keep records tied to places you've lived before, not just your current address. Adding your past cities and states gives our system the details it needs to find those older records and submit removal requests for them.

City and state are the most important details for locating your records, so you don't need full street addresses for every past location. If you remember them, adding full addresses can help match records more precisely.

How to add past locations

1. Log in to your Optery account.
2. Go to your Profile Addresses page.
3. Add each past city, state, and address you'd like included.

Which addresses to add?

Focus on addresses that were officially tied to your name, such as places where you:

• Received mail or packages
• Signed a lease or owned property
• Registered to vote or registered a vehicle
• Set up utilities, phone, or internet service
• Used the address for bank, credit card, or loan accounts

Data brokers build their profiles from public and commercial records like these, so these are the addresses most likely to show up in their listings. Short stays, such as a friend's place, a vacation rental, or a hotel, usually aren't recorded, so you can leave those out.

For Extended and Ultimate members, Optery automatically includes every location you add in your ongoing scans and removals.

Exposure Reports for past locations

Your Exposure Report reflects your profile as a whole, so we don't generate a separate report for each past city and state. To see a dedicated report for a specific location, use our on-demand Custom Scans feature.

Accounts with more than 10 addresses

Optery's removal services are built for one person per account, which keeps every removal request accurate and tied to the account owner. When an account has more than 10 address variations, our team may review it to confirm all addresses belong to the same person.

Any addresses that don't may be removed from the profile.
If you've moved often and need more than 10 addresses on your profile, email us at support@optery.com and our team will help you get them added.
