What is Optery's relationship with Surfshark?

In September 2026 cybersecurity company Surfshark acquired a majority stake in Optery.

Optery continues to operate as a standalone company, with the same C-level executives and core team. In most respects, the business and operations at Optery remain the same, but with more resources and the opportunity to collaborate and combine expertise in support of our shared mission across the Surfshark Group. Surshark Group also maintains majority stakes in Incogni, Ironwall, and HeyPolo - each maintain separate teams, customer bases, product roadmaps, technical architectures, and features.

Since joining the Surfshark Group, we're doubling down on our product, team, technology, market, and most importantly, our customers.
