No. Absolutely not. Optery does not currently sell data, and never in the past has sold data, to any private, public, or government organization(s). Optery is not currently, and never in the past has sold data, to a data broker. Optery does not currently have, and never in the past has had, any financial relationship or affiliate partnership with any data broker.
Is Optery Legitimate?
Optery is a well-respected and legitimate privacy service with thousands of people using the service. We cover more data brokers, are the fastest, have the highest success rate, and provide the most visibility than any other service on the market. Understanding your Custom Exposure Report At Optery, before anything else, we give you visibility into the type of information that’s currently being posted and sold about you on People Search sites. We provide this in the form of custom dynamically generated URLs on your Dashboard and in an Exposure Report complete with screenshots delivered by email typically within a few days after you sign up (for free). This Removals Report is provided to demonstrate and provide "proof of work" where your private information has been removed from the data brokers posting and selling it online. The Removals Report provides "before" and "after" screenshots demonstrating where your private information was posted publicly by a data broker previously, but has since been removed by Optery. How Quickly Does Optery Respond to Customer Support Requests?
We typically respond to inquiries within 1 - 2 business days, however, response times can vary based on the volume of customer support requests we are receiving.
How often does Optery run scans and opt outs?
For paying customers e.g. on the Core, Extended, or Ultimate plan Optery runs automated exposure scans and opt out processing on its full list of covered data brokers a minimum of once every 30 days. For users on the Free Basic account we run Exposure Report scans approximately every 3 months.
Is there a phone number I can call or does Optery provide phone support?
The vast majority of questions can be answered on our Help Desk: https://help.optery.com or through email support: firstname.lastname@example.org. Due to the incredibly large number of inquires we receive on a constant basis, unfortunately we do not provide phone support at this time. For paying customers, in the rare cases where we are not able to resolve issues over email, we will coordinate a time for phone support. Does Optery have a status page to communicate application uptime / downtime?
