What are the Self-Service Removal Tools available in Free Basic?

Free Basic gives you Self-Service Removal Tools to find and remove your personal information from data broker sites on your own. From your Dashboard, you can view where your information may appear, see exactly what data is exposed, and access each data broker's opt out details. Optery also keeps scanning and sends you Exposure Reports so you stay informed.

These tools put you in charge of your privacy at no cost, with everything you need to submit opt out requests directly to each data broker.

Where to find your tools?

All of your Self-Service Removal Tools live in the Websites that expose personal information list on your Dashboard.

1. View URLs: see where your information may appear

Click Dashboard in the left menu.
In the Link to Profile column, click View next to any data broker.

Optery's patented View URLs take you straight to the data broker site so you can explore your potential exposure. Data broker sites update their listings frequently, so a View URL may show a search page or a page with no current results. Learn more about how View URLs work.

2. Show more: your exposure details and opt out resources

Click Dashboard in the left menu.
In the More Info column, click show more next to any data broker.

3. Exposure Reports

Optery continues to scan data broker sites and sends you Exposure Reports with screenshot alerts, so you always know where your profile information appears. You can also find your reports anytime under Reports in the left menu. Learn more about Exposure Reports.
