How does AI Processing work for generating Removals Reports and how to opt in?
Optery provides Removals Reports with before-and-after screenshots to document removals completed for Extended and Ultimate plan customers. Learn more about Removals Reports.
Customers have two options for how Removals Reports will be processed, and you can learn more about each option at the links below:
Internal Processing (default setting for all users)
AI Processing (higher accuracy & removals effectiveness; requires opt in from Account settings page)
By default, all customers are opted into Internal Processing - if you would like AI Processing for your Removals Reports, you must opt in from your Account settings page
Removals Reports are generated using Optery's own proprietary technology, and with AI Processing activated, Optery will also incorporate artificial intelligence ("AI") technology from OpenAI to improve the accuracy of the Removals Reports.
More than just accuracy, the AI Processing of Removals Reports screenshots also provides highly intelligent feedback for identifying exposed profiles, thereby also increasing removals effectiveness, which is Optery's ultimate purpose.
With AI Processing, Optery sends our vendor OpenAI the customer's screenshots and data necessary to process the screenshots. However, only the screenshots and data necessary to process the screenshots are sent to OpenAI. The data sent to OpenAI to process the screenshots is currently: first name, middle name, last name, age, company name(s), and current and past cities, states, and countries, which is the same information already posted on the internet by data brokers and is what helps OpenAI analyze the screenshot images. Optery does not send phone numbers, email addresses, full street addresses, family members names, nor full birthdates to OpenAI.
After the Removals Report is created, all screenshots and accompanying data are immediately deleted from OpenAI. You can learn more about OpenAI's security and privacy procedures here: https://openai.com/security-and-privacy/
Optery only sends the screenshots and data for the Removals Report that is being processed. Optery does not send screenshots or data for any other customers when processing a Removals Report. Optery does not utilize AI with personal information in circumstances other than for generating Removals Reports.
Optery does not provide any screenshots or any data to OpenAI for training AI models.
