How does Expanded Reach work?

Optery remains at the forefront of personal data protection by removing your personal information from as many data brokers as possible. With Expanded Reach, Optery can make deletion requests to many more data brokers on your behalf. This includes data brokers which do not meet Optery’s rigorous removal verification process, but that still provide an Opt Out mechanism that Optery can use on your behalf. Although these data broker profiles are not as readily accessible as publicly posted ones, they may still be collecting and selling your data, and may pose a risk due to potential data breaches. Expanded Reach is free to activate for Ultimate users, and will increase the potential number of profiles we remove for you.

As some of the data brokers in Expanded Reach show their dedication to privacy rights, we will fully integrate them, and you will see the results in the Dashboard. Until then, the results will not appear on the Dashboard. But Optery will still be continuously opting you out of additional data brokers behind the scenes with Expanded Reach.

How to Activate Expanded Reach?

Ensure you are on the Ultimate plan or visit https://app.optery.com/plans to upgrade

Make sure you have signed the Limited Power of Attorney

Click on the Expanded Reach tab in your Dashboard

Confirm you want to join the program

That’s it! You can turn this off at any time to stop any future opt outs for data brokers on this list.
